Sports hall lighting

The sports hall offers space for recreation and physical activity in almost any school facility. Assorted sports activities require variable lighting solutions. The main criteria when designing the lighting of sports halls are the intensity and uniformity of illumination, low glare and good color reproduction. Each type of sport requires different levels of illumination. 200 lux for example, is sufficient for most sports at the amateur level (EN 12193). In addition, fixtures must be robust, economical, easy to maintain and should have, where appropriate, wire guards.
