Living room lighting
Every person has a biological rhythm of 24 hours. Light is an important factor therein; the human body wakes up at dawn and goes to rest as the sun goes down. Nursing home residents spend much time indoors and therefore often lack the light that is required to maintain their biological rhythms. Emmlight therefore recommends that in areas where residents spend most of their time dynamic, uniform and bright light should be used. Dynamic lighting simulates the daily cycle of the sun after to stimulate the biological rhythm.
